Amanda Barash is the Chief Financial Officer of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, the flagship Level 1 Trauma Center for Sentara Health, located in Norfolk, VA. Amanda brings eighteen (18) years of experience in academic and healthcare finance to support academic medical centers, hospitals, and medical groups create financially solvent and sustainable models for ensuring the needs of their patients can be met at the highest quality standards in perpetuity. Over the years, Amanda’s strengths in financial analysis, funds flow, operations, and provider compensation have garnered recognition across the systems she has served. Amanda may spend her days in finance, but it’s developing deep relationships with the hospital administrative, clinical, and leadership teams that drive her. She is passionate about teaching and developing future leaders of healthcare across disciplines.
