Todd L Sack MD FACP
Dr. Todd Sack speaks and writes widely on the topic of environmental sustainability and climate change preparedness by health care practices. He edits the My Green Doctor practice management program on behalf of twenty-nine health professional societies, including MGMA. My Green Doctor helps practice managers to engage in environmental sustainability to save money, to become more efficient, and to share wise concepts with patients. This service is used by thousands of offices each year in more than 80 countries in English (www.MyGreenDoctor.org) and in Spanish (www.MyGreenDoctor.es). Dr. Sack has authored more than twenty policies on sustainability and climate change that have been adopted by the American Medical Association and other organizations. He serves on several non-profit Boards and this year is President of Physicians for Social Responsibility, an organization that has shared in two Nobel Peace Prizes. He is Clinical Assistant Professor at the H Wertheim College of Medicine, a graduate of UC School of Medicine at San Francisco, and is a past Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCSF. He practices gastroenterology in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Most summers, Todd and his wife work in a small hospital in Tanzania.
